Our 2023 Free to be Red is a whole bunch, carbonic style blend of Syrah, Pinotage and Cinsault produced from vineyards on the Estate. Fermented as whole bunched in concrete tank, it is then matured in the same tank for 12 months. This allows for a deliciously fresh and elegant wine with a wonderfully perfumy aroma of Strawberry, Raspberry and violet on the nose. Have fun, taste the Free to Be Red. The palate has vibrant fruit with a beautifully coated acidity and supple tannins which give it length.

A vibrant and expressive blend of 60% Syrah, 30% Pinotage, and 10% Cinsault, bursting with aromas of ripe red berries, black cherries, violets, and white pepper spice. The palate is juicy and energetic, driven by bright fruit, supple tannins, and lively freshness. Syrah provides structure and spice, Pinotage contributes depth and dark fruit character, while Cinsault brings lift and elegance.
