Our Chenin Blanc vineyard (planted in 1987) is the first vineyard to receive the rays of light rising over the Simonsberg mountain. The inside bunches are hand selected and fermented with the wild/indigenous yeast’s in stainless steel tanks to produce a deliciously vibrant chenin blanc with notes of lime, passion fruit and apricot with a crisp acidity.

A bright and expressive Chenin Blanc showing aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, pear, and stone fruit, underpinned by subtle notes of lemon zest and minerality. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with crisp natural acidity balanced by a textured mid-palate gained through extended lees contact. Fermented exclusively in stainless steel, the wine retains purity of fruit and varietal clarity while showcasing the freshness that defines the vineyard. Clean, focused, and effortlessly approachable, it finishes with precision, energy, and refreshing length.
